To add to what is said above, The officials Responded to concerns about the presence of the contaminant melamine in numerous foods made in China and exported to the United States and elsewhere, the FDA said that consuming a very small amount of the chemical poses no serious risk. How when we have advanced so much in health sciences, taking such risks? So much for what the new government said about taking and improving health care!

The data you present runs contrary to the current CDC recommendations which is for HIV positive women to _not_ breastfeed. I would be interested in exactly what that data is. Not every study is well done. One has to look deep into the study design before one can really trust the conclusions.

The controversy on tocolytics is a lot more complicated than this, but you are right that there are unanswered questions. Tocolysis for 48 hours to gain the benefit of antenatal steroids is clearly beneficial. Tocolysis after that is less clear. That being said, tocolysis does seem to stop contractions, and in many cases appears to arrest the preterm labor of women who certainly appear like they are about to deliver a preterm infant.

When will we learn that the FDA is protecting the interest of big business and not the interest of the American people, the FDA originally had said there was no safe level of melamine in baby formula, and now after they find it, it's a 180 degree turn and say there are now safe levels for poison in infant formula, this will kill children like it killed many dogs & cats a few years back.

it is very disturbing to hear the FDA is okaying anything which has the slightest bit of melamine in it. this stuff does not belong in our food, our babies food or even our pets food. i'm gonna guess that some pockets were greased over at the FDA and presto, melamine is now safe! i wonder how many of these baby formula companies list melamine on their labels.

I'm very sorry to say this there should NOT BE ANY MELAMINE in our food at all! What is wrong with the FDA saying this is safe? They must be crazy. I do believe that for what ever reason that our country is trying to kill us off slowly or they would not say any food is safe it it has one bit of Melamine in it. This is what we get anyways taking everything to another country putting out farmers out of business. We did not have all this years and years ago...not until every thing is comming from another country mostly CHINA. We have helped China get so big and now they are trying to kill us all.Oh I just do not believe this at all.

people are definitely passionate about circumcision. it's a hot topic in this country, likely because it's on the wane but it's still a practice of the majority.

How funny, I was just talking to a mom of a 15 month old, and telling her that kids really don't start sleeping through the night until 4 years old. That age just came from my personal experience with four kids. She was very stressed out about it. It really does get better when we just realize its normal.

i firmly believe that i am pg because of my acupuncture and the teas my acupuncturist gave me. there is in fact no doubt in my mind that that is what helped me get pg after years of infertility treatments.
