Preeclampsia Study

From Yahoo! News, Vitamins Disappoint in Preeclampsia Study:
A disappointing new study found that vitamin C and E supplements given to healthy pregnant women do not reduce their risk of developing preeclampsia, a complication that can be lethal to both mother and child.
That's not too surprising. Someday "they" are going to discover the importance of protein in pregnancy, and that real food is better than supplements.

Protein GOOOOOD.

After I found out I was having twins, I was sent to a perinatal nurse. She gave me guidelines for the most important nutrients to be adjusting my diet for, and one of the top 3 was protein. Dan was forcing protein on me for the rest of the pregnancy.

Out of curiosity, how much protein did she recommend? And how long did you go with them?

I would do really well on the protein if I only liked eggs...
